About the Epson QX-10

The Epson QX-10 was a business computer released in 1983 that runs CP/M. It was a fairly good CP/M machine, including a fairly advanced (for the time) GPU, the NEC 7220. It also has a total of 5 option slots allowing for decent expandability.

In the United States it shipped with an office suite called Valdocs which ran on a CP/M compatable operating system called TPM II. Unfortunately the Valdocs software was slow and bug ridden when released which ended up giving the system an unfavorable reputation in the USA. The system was also released in both Japan and Europe and had a more favorable reception there due to the lack of the Valdocs software. In Japan the system was known as the QC-10.
